Bonus experience thresholds

Tutorial

Meeting bonus experience turn thresholds can prove to be very challenging to reach, particularly the maximum.

It's not recommended to always aim for the maximum threshold if this is your first time playing.

Instead, aiming for the secondary turn threshold will still grant a decent reward while being easier to achieve.

This may allow you to optimise combat experience or valuable drops, steals and other rewards.

As such, do not feel discouraged to press onward without obtaining the full amount.

Siege tomes

Tutorial

Siege tomes are incredibly useful weapons that can allow mages to deal damage to foes from a long distance away.

However, when they're cast, they operate on a cooldown system that prevents usage on consecutive turns.

If a unit is holding a tome that is on cooldown, they'll be unable to use other siege tomes until it's avaliable once again.

While powerful, you may want want to conserve their usage with that in mind.

Forging

Helpful Tip

Each type of forged weapon has its own unique perk besides the modified stats and coin bonus. You can check these using before selecting.

Enemy Skills

Helpful Tip

From this point onwards, enemy bosses and Exalted units will always have at least one skill. All other generic foes will not have them, so you won't need to check them individually.

Hidden Bonuses

Helpful Tip

Personal skills that contain the icon have a hidden bonus or mechanic that is not immediately revealed. These can be viewed underneath growth rates within the base.

Dialogue
  1. Jorge

Well, hello! Don't mind us! We won't take but a moment of your time...

  2. Micaiah

    Hello, Jorge. Hello, Daniel.

  3. Daniel

We just wanted to tell you a little about what we can do for YOU.

  4. Sothe

    I've already told her.

Jorge will buy from us any items or weapons that we no longer need. And Daniel--

  5. Jorge

Hey! Excuse me, we're here to talk to Micaiah! Not to some stuffy, know-it-all pun--

  6. Daniel

Jorge, don't be rude! I'm sorry about that, Sothe.

Anyway, we just wanted to tell you about some changes we made to our business.

  7. Sothe

All right, then. I'll keep my mouth shut as long as Daniel does the talking.

  8. Daniel

    Thank you.

  9. Micaiah

So, what do you have, Daniel?

  10. Jorge

    Hey, thanks for asking!

I've got a guy who's a master blacksmith. He makes weapons you wouldn't believe...and they're not available anywhere else!

  11. Daniel

Hey, thanks a lot, Jorge! I make weapons too...pretty good ones, if I do say so myself!

It's just, you know, customs have been extremely tight lately...raw materials are so hard to come by...

Which reminds me, if you ever have weapons you don't need, would you sell them to us?

  12. Jorge

    Yes, please.

Actually, even better...sell me your weapons, and I'll give them to Daniel.

Then he can smelt them down and use the steel for newer, shinier pieces!

  13. Daniel

It costs some money to upgrade weapons, but...

But hey, let's face it, it's worth the money. Owning a custom-made weapon sets you apart from the common soldier!

  14. Jorge

Oh, and here's a one-time-only deal! I won't even charge you for materials on your first upgrade! Pretty nice, huh?

Now you have no excuse not to come by. Got that, Micaiah?

  15. Micaiah

    Um...yes. Thank you.

  16. Sothe

    ...

  17. Daniel

One last thing. If you ever bring me a coin, I'll give you a little bonus on whatever I'm making for you.

They're very rare, so be sure to hang on to them. Don't sell them to some stranger!
