Privacy

A fan-made reference. Not affiliated with Nintendo, Intelligent Systems or Discord.

Reading the docs

Reading needs no account. The site shows no ads, runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. Your theme, sidebar choices, pinned and recent pages, playthrough choices and the game data your browser downloads for offline use stay in your browser (its cookies and storage); the site keeps no record of them.

Signing in

Signing in is optional: it lets you post takes and send reports. It happens on discord.com, with Discord’s own sign-in: the site never sees your Discord password.

Discord tells the site only your account id, username, display name and avatar (Discord’s “identify” permission: not your email, servers or messages). The site keeps them with a cookie that keeps you signed in. To decide who can post, the site’s bot asks Discord whether you are a member of the Discord server, and how you appear there (your nickname and avatar on that server).

Takes

A take you post on the site, or save from Discord yourself, is public on the pages it’s about, with your Discord name and avatar, and so are your replies. Your upvotes are kept with your account. You can edit or delete your own takes at any time; deleting a saved Discord message deletes its take.

Reports

A report (the Report button) goes to the project’s issue tracker with what its dialog lists under “Sent with it” before you send it: the page, the game settings you picked, your theme, window size and browser, and your Discord name and id. A screenshot is sent only if you attach one, with its metadata removed.

Questions and removal

To have your account, takes or reports removed, or for any question about this page, ask in the Exalted Discord server or send a report.
