Equipment items, shields and when they deactivate.
Equipment only deactivates when the unit’s action ends, so trading can enable several pieces in one action. Some classes get extra bonuses while holding a shield.

Helpful TipEquipment will only deactivate when a unit's action has ended. Trade strategies can situationally enable multiple equipment during their current action.
Shields
Helpful TipSome classes, such as soldiers or armored knights, gain an additional bonus while holding a shield. Keep in mind that class bonuses won't appear as active within the base.
